Experience

I am a recent graduate from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I enjoy being able to tutor biology to eager students, and I am also capable of teaching physiology, physics, SAT preparation, and MCAT preparation.I have experience tutoring first year biology to minority students at my university's instructional center. In addition to premedical studies, I took physics and chemistry courses in college, and I developed a greater understanding of the material. I believe in a well-rounded approach to learning, and I use my knowledge from other science courses to help my students develop a greater understanding of the content. This is doubly beneficial for students studying for the MCAT, as it will help them see and understand the bigger picture.When I am not studying and furthering my own academic fulfillment, I enjoy exercising and being active. My favorite activities are weight lifting and playing tennis. I also like to be around my friends and family. I currently reside in Kent, Washington.
