I earned my B.S. in Biology with a focus in pre-med from Eastern Washington University. Go Eagles! I am currently applying to medical school and hope this summer will be the beginning of my journey to becoming a doctor. During my undergraduate years, I was a T.A. in three separate courses. Being a teacher's assistant gifted me with the opportunity to help my peers and aid them in their academic success. I also spent time playing on the basketball team, which taught me how to balance athletics and academics, as well as a part-time job. I have a passion for biology and anything pertaining to biology, as well as chemistry and statistics. In addition, I served as a mentor for at-risk teens at the middle school. Being able to make a difference in a teen's life merely by lending an ear was an amazing experience. I find it important to boost confidence by allowing the student to discover answers on their own. I greatly believe I wouldn't be the person I am if it weren't for the coaches and instructors who have helped me throughout the years. I strive to be the kind of tutor that will help students gain confidence in themselves. When I'm not working with children, I like to play and watch sports, be outside, and work out.
