As a teacher and tutor, I enjoy that moment when you can clearly see in a student's eyes that they understand the material. I've attended both Lycoming College and Johns Hopkins University. I am available for tutoring elementary and middle school levels of math and English, including reading, writing, phonics, grammar, and vocabulary. I'm also available to work with students on their science, Spanish, music, American history, and social sciences. I can also help prepare your student for STAAR and ACCUPLACER material. I've worked with homeschool students, gifted students, and students with special education needs. In my free time, I enjoy reading, singing, swimming, watching old movies, playing with my pet birds, and hiking.
